After leaving professional cricket with Leicestershire, I became associated with London County Cricket Club, an organisation developed by former county cricketer Neil Burns.
The mission statement of the club is to help develop players to grace the game of cricket, done through mentoring workshops, social interaction with people/players of different levels and backrounds, and overseas travel.
I have always been interested in developing cricketers, of all levels so to be part of such a unique environment - of which, at the time I was a student - was both enjoyable and fascinating.
